the wedding reception following the majlis akad nikah in Kajang was held at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, the very next day. but contrary to the traditional majlis, the look of this reception highlighted the client's fancy for the colors and feel of a faraway land decked in wisterias.  to lavish the spaces in and around the ballroom with real wisterias would be tantamount to committing a futile and insane act.  therefore, to fulfill the wishes of our dear client, we shipped in a consignment of premium-grade artificial wisterias in shades of purple, green and white.  with the help of digital imageries and the magical touch of our angels, we created a believable far-off country orchard replete with a path, an arbor and a gazebo all adorned with wisterias and complementary fresh flowers.  even the wedding cake was given a floral makeover.  have a look...

last weekend, our angels were in historical Malacca for an assignment at the Malacca International Trade Center (MiTC).  the occasion was a wedding reception for the daughter of a dear client.  at first, the cavernous interior of the venue which could easily accomodate several jumbo airplanes was an intimidating sight to behold for our angels.  with bare high walls and a ceiling filled with structural frames and exposed ventilation ducts, the hall seemed more suited for a military trade fair.  but with yards of lustrous fabric and an abundant supply of gorgeous fresh flowers, our angels managed to allay all anxieties and transformed the space into a place fit for romance.  here's a sampling of the look of the occasion as relatives of the host started arriving in their electric blue ensemble.

the parade that ended serenely on saturday was succeeded by this burst of exuberance at the Sime Darby Convention Center the next day.  colors that were discreetly contained on hantaran vessels during the nikah ceremony were now unabashedly displayed on the pelamin, aisle decors and the main table for a remarkable reception dinner.
