pearls added a touch of subdued elegance to this all-white wedding reception held at a client's private residence in Jalan Gurney, recently. a becoming adornment to a rich canvas of white textures, we love the regal touch that the iridescent orbs in clusters and strands imbued on the pelamin as well as the overall decor. 

yellow fever

saturday morning was balmy with hints of cloudier weather later in the day. but beyond the calm exterior of Flora Terrace, the atmosphere was bordering on feverish as angels and mortals were hurrying about arranging cutlery, putting finishing touches on centerpieces and ensuring that the models were done with their fittings. yes, last saturday, our restaurant was not only serving fusion morsels to patrons but also playing host to an alliance of three players in fine tastes. our dear friends from Tiffany collaborated with Syomir Izwa and La Mer for an afternoon of entertainment and relaxation in the striking confines of our very own Flora Terrace. Flora Etc, of course, provided the flowers and hantaran vessels amongst and on which Tiffany displayed a sampling of their jewelry, sterling silver, stationery, fragrance, personal accessories, and leather goods collections. all eyes were focused on their rare yellow diamonds, especially the two chunky security personnels who arrived with the items! while the young and talented Syomir Izwa featured his spring/summer 2012 collection on lithe models, La Mer provided pampering and rejuvenating massages on the tired hands (and restless souls) of guests of the day's luncheon and fashion show. our angel, Lan, and his two trusted apprentices, Khairul Ikhwan and Rahimah, were pivotal in ensuring that the day's proceedings went on as planned. kudos to our in-house crew members as well as those from Tiffany, Syomir Izwa and La Mer for a great collaboration.

the charming interiors of the newly opened Royale Bintang the Curve provided the most appropriate backdrop for this wedding reception. the client had chosen white and green as the main palette for the decor and we accommodated the choice with touches of creams and silver for depth and texture. the muted colors and uncluttered details in the decor provided just the requisite complement to the simple pelamin that many of you may find quite desirable.

summer's here but don't be hot and bothered about the weather! just grab a close friend and head off to your favorite mall for a day of fun sans the hot sun. yesterday, our angels had the good fortune of spending a gratifying day in a neighborly climate-controlled environment for an assignment. the day was hot and humid outside but it was cool and comforting where our angels worked. a dear client had requested for a sports-themed party to celebrate her sister's baby shower and she picked the Marmalade in artsy Publika as the venue for the occasion. our client had decided that balls should be the quintessential element of the decor and picked red, blue and yellow as the defining colors. so, we provided the requisite balls in manners cute and quirky and the colors, flowery. here's a look at our chirpy creation..
