after the akad nikah ceremony, guests proceeded to the adjacent Saloma Bistro main ballroom where our angels prepared a simple pelamin with lush hydrangeas in white, green and pink.  to complement the pelamin, our angels adorned the main table with a low arrangement of hydrangeas, cymbidiums and roses, garnished with posies of pink tulips.

simple yet satisfying

at the Saloma Bistro recently, our clients were initially not impressed with the dark walls of the anteroom where their majllis akad nikah was scheduled to be held. but we assured them that we have the proper means to allay their anxieties. so when the big day finally arrived, the layered drapery in soothing cream that we applied to the sombre walls made our clients coo with satisfaction. even the management of the venue requested that we leave the drapes as they were after the ceremony. but of course we declined politely.

'twas bright and summery (of course!) last saturday when we finished the final touches on Farahin and Azim's wedding reception decor in Taman Dagang Jaya.  electricity in the warm air reflected off the turquoise overlays and bounced off the bright posies and large gatherings rendering a lively vibe to the atmosphere.  amidst the vibrant feel and color, we featured a pelamin with motifs inspired by lace in the guise of an oversized fan.  have a look..

pendant penchant

'twas an all-white dinner that followed the bersanding ceremony.  the white draped walls of the dining area were lit in soft colors that bounced off the white centerpieces on the tables dressed with white lace overlays.  each dining guest was given a bunga telur as a souvenir in the form of a lacquered wooden goose egg wrapped in a white kerchief with black embroidered finials.  to complete the night's decor, large bespoke pendant chandeliers sheathed in woven pandanus leaves were hanged from the center of the draped ceiling to leave a lasting impression to all the guests.
