we also used strings upon strings of pearls to add subtle luxury to the decor of the wedding reception at the Mandarin Oriental last saturday.  the soft shimmer of the pearls blended well with the muted light and pale colors of the flowers.

we used plenty of white light to infuse a subtler gentler glamor into the ambience of this wedding reception at the Mandarin Oriental last saturday.  the strategy provided the much needed radiance that uplifted the pale color pallet of the flower gatherings.

cajun chic

our angels had a marvelous time transforming the grand ballroom of the Shangri-La hotel from regular to ravishing for this wedding reception.  the look was a radical departure from that of the relatively sedate solemnization ceremony the day before.  but it reflected the nature of our client who relishes adventure nonetheless.  the pelamin was an eclectic marriage of martha stewart's shabby chicness and lady gaga's gothic elegance with tendrils of spanish moss, amaranthus, dendrobiums and crystals raining onto a garden of bright gatherings upon a velvet canvas.  similarly, the dining tables were adorned with elegant orchids, tulips and lilies juxtaposed with succulents and lotus pods set upon moss-covered branches and undulating lianas.  see for yourselves...

the pelamin for this akad nikah ceremony last saturday contains plenty of hardness and heaviness in its structures and coverings that would have easily overwhelmed sensitive tastebuds. but we managed to soften the otherwise perplexing vibe it would've evoked with the use of neutral colors, soft patterns and charming details.
