on cloud 57

from the verdant surrounds of Carcosa Seri Negara, our angels proceeded to the lofty towers of KLCC for the third and final celebration of the Laureus World Sports Awards 2014.  the occasion was an after-party at the country's highest rooftop bar, the Marini's on 57 restaurant. and the theme was chic and futuristic.
so, at the bottom of the stairway leading up to the restaurant, our angels erected a large flower arrangement consisting entirely of phalaenopsis orchids erupting pink splendor onto arriving guests.  within the sleek and chic spaces of the restaurant, our angels embellished the futuristic interior with phalaenopsis orchids whose white and pink blooms perching on slender stems lent a requisite touch of grace to the polished and rather austere surfaces.  this last assignment concluded our brief but invaluable collaboration with Mr. Roxburgh.  we wish to thank him and his fabulous team for the wonderful time and experience, and we hope to be reunited in more collaborations in the future.

casual colonial III

and so, around the clock, our angels continued to grace the spaces in Carcosa Seri Negara to the delight of Mr. Roxburgh who never tired of according praises to the busy flock.  dull vanities were vindicated with voluminous sprigs of radiant orchids and drab corners were decked up with scintillating spires of resplendent heliconias.  even the dank interiors of heirloom armoires were invigorated with colorful fluffs of lovable roses and hydrangeas.  all the respectable guests were visibly pleased, we were told:
they dined on mince, and slices of quince,
which they ate with a runcible spoon,
and hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
they danced by the light of the moon,
the moon,
the moon,
they danced by the light of the moon.

the numerous passages, halls and rooms within the grand confines of the Carcosa Seri Negara meant that our angels had plenty to busy themselves with.  different arrangements in singles and various combinations were placed accordingly in the impressive spaces to accentuate the ambiance with radiant colors.  redolent jasmine buds in ceramic bowls added a touch of indigenous romance to the continental atmosphere.

balled over

'twas another night to be cherished when we received recognition for our style, flair and most importantly, love for what we do, at Tatler Malaysia's Anniversary dinner last saturday at the Shangri-La hotel.  we also felt honored when Tatler commissioned us to decorate the auspicious night with our renown floral delights.  as the night was a celebration alive with joyous anticipation, we decorated the tables with flower balls floating above clear cylinders filled with colored water reflecting the mood of the night.  our bespoke candle holders further lifted the mood with flickering candles floated on clear water.  have a look..
