casual colonial III

and so, around the clock, our angels continued to grace the spaces in Carcosa Seri Negara to the delight of Mr. Roxburgh who never tired of according praises to the busy flock.  dull vanities were vindicated with voluminous sprigs of radiant orchids and drab corners were decked up with scintillating spires of resplendent heliconias.  even the dank interiors of heirloom armoires were invigorated with colorful fluffs of lovable roses and hydrangeas.  all the respectable guests were visibly pleased, we were told:
they dined on mince, and slices of quince,
which they ate with a runcible spoon,
and hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
they danced by the light of the moon,
the moon,
the moon,
they danced by the light of the moon.

the numerous passages, halls and rooms within the grand confines of the Carcosa Seri Negara meant that our angels had plenty to busy themselves with.  different arrangements in singles and various combinations were placed accordingly in the impressive spaces to accentuate the ambiance with radiant colors.  redolent jasmine buds in ceramic bowls added a touch of indigenous romance to the continental atmosphere.

recently, we had the honor of working with the incomparable Johnny Roxburgh from The Admirable Crichton for the prestigious Laureus World Sports Awards 2014 celebrations held at three different venues in Kuala Lumpur.  apart from having the opportunity to showcase our work to a prestigious pool of celebrities and sports talents from around the world, our team also won the praise and admiration of the man himself, Johnny Roxburgh, who complemented our angels for their absolutely gorgeous and professional work.
our first collaboration with Mr. Roxburgh was at the Carcosa Seri Negara for a welcoming party prior to the main event.  Mr. Roxburgh wanted to showcase the radiant colors of tropical Malaysia amidst the romantic charms of the luxurious Carcosa Seri Negara.  so, our angels took to the task of arranging luscious deposits of orchids, heliconias and gingers in fuchsias, pinks, purples and oranges at strategic corners and surfaces to add much needed color and splendor to the pale walls of the colonial building.  generous sprinklings of pincushions and alliums were added for character and vitality.

flora resort spring/summer 2014

for this wedding reception at the Mandarin Oriental last friday, our dear client wished to engage her arriving guests to a leisurely time at the foyer before continuing into the ballroom for the main event.  the client's fancy for mid-century chicness prompted us to transform the newly refurbished foyer into a luxe lounge replete with glorious flower gatherings.
