sunday sorbet

we hope our client will be thrilled to receive this lovely bridal bouquet so lovingly put together by one of our angels. luscious pink tulips amongst a gregarious mix of lilac roses, purple and pink hydrangeas, and a light sprinkling of fiddleheads bound together with satin and organza ribbons. our angel added a layer of glamor to the ensemble with a chunky brooch of smokey black, diamond and turquoise crystals. have a look...

tinsel

we were wickedly elated when told that a guest at one of the events we did last year couldn't find her way to the toilet. it was because we had so transformed the space that she could not recognize it! we did it again just last weekend at the Royal Lake Club for a birthday bash. only this time nobody got lost, thank goodness! we had draped the entire wall and ceiling of the Banquet Hall in soft fabric, flooded the space with blue light and transformed the look from rustic colonial to glitzy and glamorous Hollywood!

birds of a feather

we were rather hesitant at first when a client requested feathers over flowers for her big day at the JW Marriott last month. after all, we’re known for our flora and not for our fauna although we can be quite aggressive creatures when it comes to fabulous décor. but we’re always game for a new adventure. so, we casted our reservations to the wind and came up with these…

his and hers

the hantaran sets of the bride and groom were mini-theatrical plays in themselves. the bride's gifts for the groom were borne upon nine tall silver dulangs. these were covered with handmade buffled satin skirts adorned with clusters of pearls and clear diamantes. gift items were set upon oval vessels in silver, trimmed with pearl ribbons and decked with clusters of lovely white peonies and cymbidiums. the dulangs stood upon handmade trays covered with padded pin-tuffed satin trimmed with pearl-tipped ribbons.

next, the gifts for the bride were placed upon seven silver plates balanced upon tall trophy stands with classical motifs. the flowers we picked to adorn the gifts were graceful white phalaenopsis orchids and petit white freesias. turquoise crystal flowers were added garnishing to the arrangement. we finished off this hantaran set with trays in padded pin-tuffed satin similar to the previous set but with clear and turquoise diamante trimmings.

water colors

last weekend, a member of our team, Abang De, celebrated the wedding of his son, Faiz. our crew members went behind the scenes to ensure that the event was exuberant in fabulous fabric, flowers and more flowers. the look and feel we created was traditional in subdued blues and whites with touches of purples, creams and bling. we believe that we managed to elevate everyone's mood with our lush floral compositions to counter the daylong cloudy and drizzly weather. we wish the newlyweds a lifelong journey of love and happiness filled with His blessings.

agent orange

bright colors and bling shouldn't be blamed for going OTT with your hantaran. in today's post, we show you how the two can match to communicate your best intentions to your future life-partner without going overboard. wash down the brilliance of orange with touches of champagne and white, and add a dash of glamor to the presentation with crystal beads and mirror tiles. never be reticent when you aim to impress, darling.

drops of jupiter

last Thursday, we celebrated the union of our beloved team member, Rosli Abdullah, and his lovely bride, Nuraini, at Anjung Felda. the venue exuded a rustic charm with open pavilions for guests to dine and mingle, as well as enclosed quarters for close friends and family members to engage in private conversations with the bride and groom. to make it a night of revelry and remembrance, we added our signature floral touches to the tables and pelamin, soft fabric and floral panels beneath the eaves of the pavilions, glowing tea lights on the pavements and copious garnishings of bling all over. our best wishes and prayers to the newlyweds, may He grant them everlasting love and happiness, amin.
