enter a heavenly earth rife with traditional lores and religious rites. move gingerly lest you miss the aesthetic sustenance painstakingly afforded by minion earth angels out of love and passion. sway your gaze over the muted canvas and take in the depth and harmony. breath in the crisp essences of citrus and fresh appeal. pause a moment and drink up the lingering scent of tuberose and jasmine. reach out to touch the tender shoots and soft sprouts. marvel at the reassuring green of leaves drooping in humility or standing proud and looming majestic. feel the comfort of petals, smooth or velvety, ever alluring even in white. bathe in the soft glow. relish the warmth emanating from the flickering candle lights as well as from the quiet whispers of the awed and inspired. rejoice in the zikr and prayers of the elements and the well-wishers, all communing to supplicate His blessings unto this glorious union of two hearts.

during the birthday celebration of His Royal Highness Paduka Seri Sultan Perak recently held at the Shangri-La, we dressed the ballroom in regal feel with elongated fabric pillars dropped from the ceiling awash in elegant purple light. we floated white floral panels around the ballroom to add a crisp courtliness to the darken curtained walls. the tables, appropriately dressed in rich overlays, were luminescent with candles and gloriously decked with our signature floral arrangements that featured gorgeous yellow tulips.

we featured her beautiful home last April where we accentuated the ambience with bright florals. this time we jazz down the mood with a different set of florals and hues.

phoenix, phalaenopsis, phantastic!

We started off on the wrong foot, quite literally, as we were installing props at the entrance of the ballroom. There was a 7-foot long dragon 'hanging' in mid-air and there was also a phoenix with a 10-ft long train standing on a broken leg. A small chaos ensued as we were erecting these pieces in time for the start of the event a few short hours away. But like the phoenix, great things do arise from chaos. Before the start of the event, we managed to create a lasting impression to the arriving guests. But we're just talking about the entrance darling. Wait till you see what lies beyond...
