we love to incorporate uncommon elements into our work especially when those elements impart a certain edge to our creations. in the maldives, we infused wild local fruits with regular imported flowers to create a unique bridal bouquet and recently in bali, we immersed locally farmed seaweed in water-filled glass cylinders and juxtaposed them with loose gatherings of typical blooms in tall cylinders as part of the decor for a private dinner party. with intertwining branches bursting forth in neon-colored gossamers, the seaweed added a distinctive flair to our floral arrangements.

  

heaven on earth

enter a heavenly earth rife with traditional lores and religious rites. move gingerly lest you miss the aesthetic sustenance painstakingly afforded by minion earth angels out of love and passion. sway your gaze over the muted canvas and take in the depth and harmony. breath in the crisp essences of citrus and fresh appeal. pause a moment and drink up the lingering scent of tuberose and jasmine. reach out to touch the tender shoots and soft sprouts. marvel at the reassuring green of leaves drooping in humility or standing proud and looming majestic. feel the comfort of petals, smooth or velvety, ever alluring even in white. bathe in the soft glow. relish the warmth emanating from the flickering candle lights as well as from the quiet whispers of the awed and inspired. rejoice in the zikr and prayers of the elements and the well-wishers, all communing to supplicate His blessings unto this glorious union of two hearts.

the damp weather last Friday didn't bother us one bit when we arrived at the swank dwelling of a client in Duta Nusantara. the flowers loved it we knew. our client was hosting a Raya do and we were on site to liven it up with colors and textures befitting our client's spicy color palette. but, alas, the cozy setting of the guest tables in the car port was rather unexpected as it did not accommodate the size of our glass islands where we'd intended to populate with loose floral gatherings. so, we shoved the glass islands aside and rearranged our flowers accordingly. and everything looked stunning still.

inside the lovely dwelling, we melded our flowers into the different chosen surfaces that were exquisitely draped in rich Oriental colors and patterns. we kept our arrangements low and compact on the coffee and dining tables but let the flowers reach up and out from above the piano and cabinet. before we left, we lit all the accompanying block candles but saved the tea lights for the hostess to light just minutes before her evening started.

warm and fuzzy

an order meant for a senior couple’s anniversary in blissful muted pinks, purples, creams and exuberant textures. just makes you wanna curl up beneath it and reminisce, doesn’t it?

hot & spicy

a client was inviting his friend who was from abroad for dinner and he commissioned us to create a floral ambience in his palatial abode that would reflect the bountiful warmth and colourful taste of our beloved country. so, we arranged for a floral feast that was graciously green, brilliantly bright and elegantly charming for our client. we started with the big arrangements having copious canopies of greenery made up of giant alocasia fans frilled with either tufts of bent pandanus and asplenium blades or monsteras. below these, we liberally sprinkled splashes of bright colors made up of mokara and james’ story orchids in orange and red, and hints of blue agapanthus, crimson anthuriums and purple cymbidiums. we next populated the setting with smaller arrangements in various configurations of blue agapanthus, purple mokaras, green, red and duo-toned anthuriums, and yellow cymbidiums. to add a touch of drama, we immersed vermilion cymbidiums in clear cylinders, scattered rosettes of echeverias on bare surfaces as well as upon palm-sized philondendron leaves. here’s a peek at our creation, all tropical, spicy and nice!
