crowning glory

for this wedding reception at the Shangri-La hotel, we featured a circular canopy crowned with fresh flowers for the entrance decor.  the circular canopy is a new addition to our library of entrance designs where in previous events, we only featured rectangular and arched structures.  we also featured a similar structure above the pelamin from where we hung strands of crystals and stalks of white dendrobium orchids.

pearls added a touch of subdued elegance to this all-white wedding reception held at a client's private residence in Jalan Gurney, recently. a becoming adornment to a rich canvas of white textures, we love the regal touch that the iridescent orbs in clusters and strands imbued on the pelamin as well as the overall decor.

for Scha and Awal's reception dinner at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) last sunday, we maintained the simple elegance of their akad nikah ceremony but afforded a greater degree of vitality to the occasion with a regal color palette, lush fabrics and  of course, dramatic flower gatherings. we truly had a splendid time working with the beautiful couple in their journey toward their two momentous occasions. we wish the two of them a wonderful life together.

many adoring fans were heart broken when Astro failed to broadcast the akad nikah of celebrity couple Scha & Awal live last friday.  but we were unaware of all the conundrum as most of us were very much occupied preparing for the couple's next big event, their reception.  so, for those of you who missed the ceremony and are curious about the look that we whipped up for the occasion, here are glimpses from that evening minutes before the throng of photo-epileptic-inducing paparazzis arrived..
