yesterday, at the Kiara Equestrian Club, we created quite a celestial spectacle for our client with simple earthly elements. when crowned with apple blossoms dripping with stringed crystals and bathed in warm light, the elegantly modest pelamin we set up was instantly transformed into a majestic nebula. we hope the otherworldly sight will usher in a stellar experience for the newlyweds in their next big event.

it has been a while since we last did an event at the affable Crowne Plaza Mutiara.  so, when Tradewinds commissioned us to decorate their hari raya open house there, we were all eager to pay the familiar place a friendly visit.  here's a look at our angels' handiwork for the occasion.

intricate affair

a lone tree leaned graciously over the entrance of the Royale Bintang the Curve ballroom, serenely awaiting the arrival of guests to Astro's iftar event with reps from the local media.  pendants hung from the murayya branches gave away the festive theme of the occasion.  the representative from Astro who discussed the event with two of our angels wanted to add traditional elements to the decor to reflect the festive mood of the occasion.  to evade triteness with the use of familiar elements such as the ketupat or pelita, our angels suggested using Astro's "Eratkan Jalinan" campaign logo as pendants (hanging ketupats) and table runners. the use of greens, whites and creams in the flowers and table overlays further heightened the festive feel and melded the decor seamlessly with the calm interior of the ballroom.

tales from earthsea: a prelude

for the assignment in that piece of heaven on earth, we afforded the creative touches of two angels, Iman and Lan, to adorn the windswept oceanfront compounds of the client with our signature floral gatherings. our client was abundantly generous to lend a few delicate hands to prep the flowers for our angels so they could work with ease. apart from decking the outdoors, our angels also created centerpieces for the indoors. in this post, we feature the work our angels did for the dining table in the house. they topped an assembly of clear glass cylinders in varying sizes and heights arranged lengthwise across the table with loose gatherings of locally bought flowers in mostly neutral hues. flashes of bright yellows, oranges, and pinks added vitality to the assembly. lit block candles finished the look, radiating an ethereal glow across the surface of the table, giving the illusion that the flowers were floating on air.

oriental charm

pearls added a touch of subdued elegance to this all-white wedding reception held at a client's private residence in Jalan Gurney, recently. a becoming adornment to a rich canvas of white textures, we love the regal touch that the iridescent orbs in clusters and strands imbued on the pelamin as well as the overall decor.
