inner beauty

for the launch of this residential project, our angels provided a quasi colonial feel for the decor of the main event area with whitewashed trellis panels and fences, hanging potted begonias and domestic palms in large pots.  to enliven the interior of the featured show house, our angels graced the furnished spaces with exquisite floral gatherings in white and green.

rooftop rendezvous

last Monday night, we were at the Conservatory on the 23rd floor of the MAA building to effervesce glitter and gaiety upon a dinner party hosted by a dear client of ours. it was a small gathering of her closest friends to celebrate Valentine's day and the lofty venue provided all the requisite features for such a private occasion. our simple floral displays, clear glassware and transparent props melded perfectly with the serpentine table arrangement we purposely set up for the lighthearted occasion. when the lights were dimmed and the candles lit, the Conservatory came alive and glowed with a warm radiance.

pangea

here's a sampling of a time when greenhouse gases weren't such a threat: a world replete with lush green shoots sheltering virginal and succulent blooms in a rich variety of shapes and sizes, twining vines meandering amongst the busy ruse of colors and textures seeking out the open spaces in between, and underbrushes making the best of the shade beneath all the drama unfolding above them.

true colors

a client wanted to send a special floral arrangement to his current beau but he couldn't decide the type of flowers or colors to choose. fortunately for him, we had just received a shipment of roses in these splendid new colors. the highlight of the bunch were these gorgeous seemingly 2-toned carrot roses that look like they were painted red on the outside. we hope the lady will love them.

man, oman!

we received an order for a hand bouquet to be presented to an envoy from Oman and we were more than delighted to oblige. so, we picked 3 of our favourite types of flowers and created a bouquet worthy of the attention of our dignified foreign visitor. there were roses of course, thick, velvety and fiery crimson. next, there were cymbidiums, all crunchy, succulent and mellow in yellow. and lastly, hydrangeas, fluffy, full-bodied and fabulous. of course, we’re never happy unless we added in extras. so, we threw in a bunch of cream roses and white lilies for good measure, and bundled everything snug and comfy with a handful of variegated iron leaves (dracaena massangeana) and bear grass. the result? my, oh my!
